An ancient Greek Attic red-figure Nolan Amphora by Hermonax, on one side stands nude frontal Dionysos wearing a laurel wreath and cloak draped over his arms, holding a thyrsos, looking to the right; on the reverse: a nude satyr holding an oinochoe, wineskin, and a thyrsos.

Hermonax was a pupil of the Berlin Painter. His painting is known from just over 100 vases and fragments, including several Nolan amphorae and two dozen stamnoi, ten of which were signed by the artist.
