An ancient Eastern Greek pottery lydion, or perfume jar with an inverted piriform body set on a small foot, the cylindrical neck with a wide flared lip, with bands of black glaze around the foot, body and neck. Eastern Aegean. Ca. 6th century BC. Height: 3 in. (7.6 cm). Intact. Formerly in the collection of Jerome Eisenberg, New York.
