Obv: Diademed head of Cleopatra, her hair bound in a saccos, facing right.
Rev: Eagle standing left on thunderbolt.

Minted in Alexandria, Egypt, 51-30 BC.

Cleopatra VII was the last Ptolemaic ruler of Egypt, reigning with her brothers from 51 to 44 BC. And then with her son by Julius Caesar, Caesarion, until her suicide following her and Marc Antony's defeat at Actium in 31 BC.
