Two ancient Egyptian Old Kingdom polychrome wood servant figures, each leaning forward with shaved heads and wearing white kilts.

Old Kingdom, 6th Dynasty,
Ca. 2345 - 2181 BC.

Formerly in a New York private collectrion, acquired at Christie's, London, 14 April, 2011, lot 25; previously in the Baron Empain collection, Belgium (1852 -1929).
