An ancient Canosan Greek terracotta statuette of a woman holding a basket full of aryballoi. She wears a himation trimmed in pink over a chiton, her auburn hair bound beneath a garland. Apulia, Magna Graecia, Southern Italy. Ca. 3rd century BC. Height: 10 3/4 in. (27.3 cm). Intact. Formerly in a North Carolina private collection.
