An ancient Italo-Corinthian pyxis of angular form with a frieze of swans around the exterior. Etruria. Ca. 625 - 550 BC. Diameter: 3 in. (7.5 cm). Formerly in the F. & H. Schwitter-Lagutt collection, Basel, Switzerland, acquired prior to 1971.
