Chinesco Female Figure
A Pre-Columbian large Chinesco pottery female figure, with striated hair bound in a headband. She is seated with a calm expression, her legs spread and hands on her hips. She wears pendant earrings, multiple necklaces, and a segmented belt. Her lower body features a design symbolizing her preparation for an initiation ceremony.
Proto-Classic, ca. 100 BC - 250 AD.
