An ancient Roman bronze figure of a winged nude Cupid or Eros, kneeling and gazing upward.

Ca. 1st - 3rd century AD.
Height: 2 1/8 in. (5.3 cm).

The Roman god Cupid (Greek: Eros) was the youthful personification of Love, and was usually depicted alongside Venus (Aphrodite).
