A set of nine ancient Roman small, fine medical instruments, three made of bone and six of orichalcum, a highly prized brass-like alloy.

Ca. 1st-4th century AD.
Various lengths: from 3 in. to 4 3/4 in. (7.6 cm to 12 cm).

Formerly in the private collection of an American physician, acquired in the 1960s-1990s.
