Greek Bronze Illyrian Helmet

An ancient Greek bronze helmet of the Illyrian type, with raised crest lines, a border of large rivets, perforated holes at the end of each cheek piece, a swooping neck guard, and a double raised repoussé band over the brow.

Ca. 600-550 BC.
Height: 9 1/5 in. (24 cm).
