Obv: Wreathed head of Kore Soteira.
Rev: Head of lion left, tunny fish below, KY-ZI above.

Ca. 390-340 BC.

Kyzikos was a fishing port famed for its bounteous waters. This is symbolised on this coin through the depiction of the iconic tunny fish below the lion. Kyzikos was particularly famed for its electrum staters which were widely circulated in the Greek world.
