Etruscan Bronze Statuette of a Man

An ancient Etruscan bronze statuette of a man standing with his palms upward, wearing a short-sleeve tunic and a voluminous mantle over the shoulder, the tunic with a dotted collar and a double row of dots on the sleeve, the mantle with a hatched edge, his hair with incised details.

Late 4th - early 3rd century BC.
Height: 4 3/8 in. (11.1 cm).

Formerly in a Swiss private collection since 1990; Christie's, New York, June 6, 2013, lot 659.
