Old Assyrian Glass Paste Cylinder Seal
An ancient Old Assyrian turquoise glass paste cylinder seal depicting a procession of three figures, one of which wears a large skirt and is flanked by two winged animals.
Ca. 1900-1700 BC.
Cylinder seals depicting figures with animals in a procession are characteristic of the Late Old Assyrian style (Teissier 1984, p.69).
