Egyptian Faience Pataikos Amulet
An ancient Egyptian abstract blue faience amulet of the bandy-legged dwarf god Patiakos, a scarab on top of his head, with a loop at the back for suspension.
Pataikos or Ptah the dwarf, was generally depicted as a broad-headed, bandy legged, youthful, sometimes janiform, dwarf. He was the protector of children.
