Greek Terracotta Acrobat

An ancient Hellenistic Greek large terracotta statuette of an acrobat. The male figure is nude except for a sash worn across the torso and over the shoulder. He holds an object in his right hand, perhaps a torch. Fillets are tied around his upper thighs.

Ca. 4th century BC.
Height: 17 1/4 in. (12.6 cm).

Formerly in a California private collection.
