Greek Bronze Helmet Cheek Pieces: Griffin
A pair of fragmentary ancient Greek bronze cheek pieces from a helmet of the Chalcidian or Attic type. The right cheek piece is decorated in fine repoussé work with a rearing griffin, the left with a panther or lion.
Ca. 400-300 BC.
