A collection of nineteen ancient Jamacoaque terracotta roller stamps with various geometric and floral patterns used to imprint decorative designs on the flesh.

Ca. 800-1400 AD.
Maximum height: 3 in. (7.8 cm).

Formerly in the collection of Edward Gans, California, acquired in 1966 from Dr. Broheggi, on loan to the Lowie Museum of Anthropology, UC Berkeley until 2010.
