Roman Amphora with Chariot Racing Scene

An ancient Roman pottery amphora with a cylindrical neck. The surface is decorated with mold-made applied scenes of the Circus Maximus. The upper register depicts a chariot race, below are horse trainers.

Ca. 1st - 2nd century AD.
