Silver denarius, 17 mm, 3.79 gm. Obv: Head of Mutinus Titius (or Priapus) right, bound with winged diadem. Rev: Pegasus rearing right on inscribed tablet: [Q. TITI] Rome mint, 90 BC. Titia was a Plebeian family at Rome. The gens is rarely mentioned in the Republican period, and did not rise out of obscurity until much later. Crawford 341/1; Sydenham 691; Titia 1.
