Vibia was a prominent Plebian family during the Repbulic. Gaius Vibius Pansa was a moneyer in the beginning of the 1st century BC and was proscribed by Sulla in 82-81 BC. A relative (son or grandson?) was consul in 43 BC and fought against Marc Antony.
