Silvered antoninianus, 23 mm, 2.97 gm. Obv: IMP CP LIC GALLIENVS AVG Radiate draped bust of Gallienus right. Rev: CONCORDIA EXERCIT Concordia standing with patera and double cornucopia. Gallienus, the son of Valerian, was born in Milan and inhertited an Empire in chaos, his reign was marked by continuous Germanic invasions and rebellions among his regional commanders. He was murdered in a coup. C. 129.
