Egyptian Faience Amulet of Khnum
An ancient Egyptian green faience amulet of the ram headed god Khnum, the Lord of Elephantine, in a kilt striding, his hands at his sides.
Late Period, ca. 700-30 BC.
Khnum was the Egyptian creator god who fashioned humans from clay on the potter's wheel. He was associated with the inundation of the Nile.
